![]() ![]() Videos in this collection from 1986 include: Learning About Letters, Learning About Numbers, Getting Ready to Read, I'm Glad I'm Me, Play-Along Games and Songs, and Bedtime Stories & Songs. The closing sequence had an illustration of Cookie Monster holding a chalkboard listing the credits. The title sequence of each video featured an animated opening set to the " Sesame Street Theme" with Cookie Monster biting the street sign, followed by a fade to black and, in many of the releases, Cookie exclaiming "Delicious!" Then the title would appear in either chalk board or printed lettering, with Big Bird announcing the video title. The first videos originally came with a small booklet containing activities or songs from the video, which was discontinued in the early 1990s. ![]() The covers were updated in 1992, with redesigned borders removing Big Bird and emphasizing the photo. The original packaging design featured an illustrated Big Bird holding a poser photo of Muppet characters in situations related to the video's theme. The logo depicted Cookie Monster holding the Sesame Street sign (with a bite mark on the left), which had "My" in place of the " CTW" initials and "Home Video" underneath the Sesame Street text. These compilations, linking classic segments with new framing material, were 30 minutes in length as opposed to the hour-long television program. Random House Home Video began releasing Sesame Street videos in 1986, under the label My Sesame Street Home Video. ![]()
